Dots to Thoughts: Pen to Paper
Dots to thought.
Pen to Paper.
An intro
It’s time to put my money where my mouth is.
Golly, y’all. This is my first official personal blog post, and damn it, this is hard. I’ve been blogging for my employers since 2009, so why is this so difficult for me to put a linear neural-path into words, let alone publish it online for the world to criticize? I honestly value what people think/say, so I guess I hope someone, or many, will value what I have to say.
I want this blog to be raw and in-the-moment, so I will be writing and editing this on-the-spot. Which means, you are reading perfection in the nude. KIDDING. Settle down. But honestly, there’s going to be a lot of room for error. I will be revisiting posts a few days after publishing to edit this work for grammar and punctuation, and to clarify my thoughts. Just one way that I’m making myself vulnerable so I can challenge and take myself to the next level. You may disagree, but I made a promise to myself to be more intentional and precise with writing on-the-fly. So this is one way I’m challenging myself to be more intentional in my day-to-day. There’s just something I love about diving into unknown, deep waters by making myself vulnerable, yet rising above. Sometimes things get messy, but I think the process is beautiful.
Literally, in this moment, I am trying to think about how to categorize my thoughts so I can have some sort of organized-chaos to this brain-dump of a site. Here’s what I’m thinking:
Marketing (tips + tricks, ideas, case studies, how -to’s, the future of marketing…)
Life Coaching / Soul Searching (I’ve been coaching friends/family for years and have been credited for their successes. Maybe it’s time to expand my audience?)
Parenting + Mom Guilt (tips+ tricks, ideas, confessions, honesty, vulnerability.)
Love/Marriage? (I’m not married. Am I worthy to write about this? Maybe, you should know I have been in a happy, committed relationship for nearly a decade before you tell me to stay in my lane ;).)
Healthy Lifestyle (Fitness, Food, Mental Stimulation.)
Faith (Faith overcomes fear, but fear happens.)
If you know me personally, what would you like me to write about? If you don’t know me, what are you searching for? You found your way here (and are clearly still reading). Are you facing a fork in the road? Uncertainty? Do you desire direction? If so, shoot me a note Sarah.Dring@gmail.com and tell me more about your situation. I’d love to help!
